Why we built this.

We are Rishi and Kartik, two students at Loughborough. Rishi is deep into fitness and coaches himself. Kartik is into sport and music.

Between us we spent years trying to find good coaching and always did it the same clumsy way. Ask a friend. Scroll Instagram. Message someone who never replied. Give up. Or find someone, pay for a session, realise the fit was wrong, and start again.

There was never a place to just look. Not a place where you could read about what a coach actually does, see what they charge, understand who they've worked with, and decide — before committing to anything.

When Rishi started coaching properly, the other side turned out to be just as broken. There is nowhere for a coach to put themselves. You post on Instagram and hope. Your clients live in your DMs, your programmes live in a spreadsheet, and your money lives in payment links you chase on a Sunday night.

Every coach we spoke to had roughly the same setup and roughly the same complaint about it.

We check every coach by hand before they appear here, and that part will stay slow on purpose. A site where anyone can appear is a site where nobody knows who to trust. We'd rather grow carefully than grow fast and become useless.

We're still students. This is early. Some of the disciplines are empty, some of the features aren't built yet, and there will be things that do not work the way they should. We're being honest about that because the alternative — pretending to be bigger than we are — doesn't help anyone.
